Separate wall coverage from acoustic design
There are two questions: how many panels cover your chosen wall, and how much absorption your room needs. The first is a dimension calculation. The second depends on room volume, hard surfaces, furnishings, use and mounting method. A neat decorative feature is not automatically enough acoustic treatment for a large office.
Calculate a full-height wall
Standard Adeqo panels are 60 cm wide and either 260 or 300 cm long. Divide the wall width by 0.60 m and round up to whole panels if each panel covers the wall height. For example, a 3 m-wide wall needs five full-width panels when the chosen length reaches the intended height. A 3.2 m-wide wall needs six, with the final panel cut to fit.
Use area as a cross-check
A 260 × 60 cm panel covers 1.56 m²; a 300 × 60 cm panel covers 1.80 m². Area calculations help estimate material, but panel orientation, joints and offcuts determine what you can actually use. Draw the layout and label each cut. Do not subtract every socket or small opening as if it saved a whole panel.
Estimate acoustic coverage realistically
As an initial guide, consider covering 30–40% of the wall area for reverberation control, then refine for the room. High ceilings, glass and hard floors can call for more treatment. Class A and NRC 0.90 refer to the tested installation configuration. Commercial spaces with performance targets may need an acoustic calculation and a combination of wall and ceiling treatment.
Remember the finishing materials
Include end trims for exposed edges, appropriate fixings and adhesive. Keep heavy fittings anchored to the wall and use mechanical fixings on ceilings. Check stock, finish and dimensions before ordering. Send Adeqo your measurements and a simple sketch if you would like help turning the calculation into a complete materials list.
