Description

Bring natural texture and a calmer sound to your interior with Adeqo acoustic wall panels in Rustic Oak. The wood veneer finish makes a feature of the wall, while the acoustic felt backing helps reduce reflected sound and reverberation.

Real wood veneer on three sides

The MDF slats are finished with real wood veneer on the front and both sides, giving the wall a consistent wood appearance from different viewing angles. Compare a physical sample before choosing the finish for your room.

Panel construction

Panel dimensions: 60 × 60 cm. The backing is 9 mm recycled PET acoustic felt. For the exact slat dimensions, total thickness and felt colour, see the specifications for this product. Acoustic performance depends on the tested mounting configuration.

Reaction to fire

The fire-retardant range uses both classified acoustic felt and a fire-retardant MDF core. The felt and fire-retardant MDF core have separate B-s1,d0 component reports. This does not establish the classification of the veneered slats or complete panel. Request the relevant test documentation and check the required installation for your project.

Installation and finishing

Fix with mounting adhesive or screws through the felt between the slats. Cut to size as required and finish exposed edges with a matching end trim. For larger or commercial projects, contact Adeqo for advice on quantities, materials and the required configuration.

Suitable for indoor living, working, hospitality and hotel spaces. Not suitable for outdoor use or bathrooms. Delivery and product availability depend on the selected country.

Acoustic felt made from recycled PET bottles

Behind the slats is 9 mm acoustic felt made from recycled PET. Used bottles are shredded into flakes, spun into fibres and compressed into a durable felt sheet.

The felt absorbs sound that passes between the slats, reducing reflections and helping your room sound calmer.

Why choose Adeqo?

For projects where both room acoustics and appearance matter—from living rooms to offices and hospitality interiors.

Real wood veneer on three sides

Real veneer covers the front and both sides. You see natural wood from every angle, with no decorative foil or print.

Class A sound absorption

Helps absorb room reflections and reduce reverberation. Suitable for offices, living rooms and hospitality interiors with the right installation.

Fire-retardant acoustic felt

The felt is classified B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1. For classification of the complete assembly, ask for applicable evidence; separate component reports are not sufficient.

Suitable for DIY installation

Cut panels to size and install on a suitable wall with adhesive or screws. Follow the fixing instructions; ceilings require mechanical fixings.

Frequently asked questions about Adeqo Akupanel Fire-retardant Rustic Oak 60×60 cm

What is the Adeqo Akupanel Fire-retardant Rustic Oak 60x60 cm made from?

The panel combines MDF slats with real wood veneer on three sides and a 9 mm recycled PET felt backing. The square format is 60 × 60 × 2.1 cm and covers 0.36 m². This is part of the fire-retardant range. Request its B-s1,d0 classification report and check the stated installation scope.

What fire classification applies to these panels?

In the standard range, B-s1,d0 applies to the felt backing, not the MDF slats or complete panel assembly. If your specification requires classification of the whole panel, ask Adeqo about the available evidence before specifying it. Component reports alone are insufficient.

How many panels do I need?

One 60 × 60 cm tile covers 0.36 m². Divide the area by 0.36 and round up, then check the layout and allow for cuts. For example, 1 m² requires approximately three tiles before allowing for the actual arrangement.

How do I install Rustic Oak?

Prepare a clean, dry and sound wall, measure the layout and cut panels to fit. Use suitable High Tack adhesive or screws for the substrate. Check alignment as you work and finish exposed edges with matching trims. Always use mechanical fixings on ceilings. For tested acoustic or fire performance, follow the specified installation configuration.

Can I cut these panels to size?

Yes. Use a fine-toothed saw for the slats, support the panel and protect the veneer. A sharp knife can cut the felt between slats when adjusting width. Re-secure slat ends after cutting where necessary and finish exposed edges neatly.

How do these panels improve room acoustics?

Sound reaches the porous felt through the gaps between the slats. The backing absorbs part of the reflected sound and helps reduce reverberation. Class A absorption and NRC 0.90 apply to the tested installation configuration; results in a room depend on coverage and mounting. Panels do not replace sound insulation against noise through walls.

Which felt colour is behind the slats?

Check the felt colour in this product’s specifications. Black felt is used in many finishes; selected oak versions have grey felt. Order a sample to compare the complete combination in your room.

Where can I use these panels?

These indoor panels suit living rooms, bedrooms, offices and hospitality interiors. They are not intended for outdoor use or bathrooms. Persistent moisture and temperature changes can affect the MDF and veneer. For a project with fire requirements, check the complete specification before ordering.

How much do these panels weigh?

The source specification states 2.8 kg. Check the exact product dimensions and ensure the substrate and fixings can carry the panel load. Ceilings require mechanical fixings.

How do I finish the exposed edges?

Use an end trim matched to the finish and panel range. Cut it to length and fit it against the exposed felt edge with the specified fixing method. Fire-retardant projects need appropriate finishing components within the documented construction.
