Acoustic panel end trims

Why use end trims?

End trims cover exposed panel edges, creating a defined transition between the slat wall and its surroundings. Match the finish, cut to length and check the fitting detail before installation.

A clean finish at the edge of your panel wall

An end trim covers the exposed felt and creates a defined edge where your panels meet a painted wall, doorway or corner. Choose a finish that matches the panels, and check the trim dimensions before ordering. An end trim is different from an individual slat: it is a shaped finishing profile rather than a replacement slat.

How to fit an end trim

  1. Measure the exposed edge and cut the trim to length with a suitable fine-toothed saw.
  2. Check the fit against the panel. On the side with projecting felt, position the trim against that edge. On the opposite side, the final slat may need to be removed so the trim fits against the felt.
  3. Apply suitable mounting adhesive to the back and press the trim into position. Check alignment and support it as required while the adhesive cures.

Check the matching product for your panel range. Projects using the fire-retardant range need the appropriate fire-retardant finishing components and installation details.
